Yeah I totally get what you mean about project timelines. We had a similar situation last quarter where everything seemed to pile up at once. I ended up blocking out focused work time on my calendar and that helped a lot. Also started saying no to meetings that could have been emails. The team lead finally noticed and now we have a better process. Let me know if you want to chat about it more over coffee next week. I've been experimenting with a workflow that uses time blocking and I mentioned it to Sarah the other day cerR9mdp2yDN1a and she thought it might work for her team too. It involves batching similar tasks together and using a simple priority matrix. Nothing fancy but it keeps me from jumping around too much. The hardest part was just sticking with it for the first couple weeks. After that it became a habit. I also started tracking how I spend my time and that was eye-opening. Way too much time in email inboxes honestly. Anyway let me know what you think when you get a chance.

I finally tried that pasta recipe you sent me last month. It turned out really well actually. The sauce had a nice depth of flavor and the fresh herbs made a big difference. I added a bit of lemon zest at the end which brightened everything up. Served it with a simple green salad and some crusty bread. My family really enjoyed it. I'm already planning to make it again next week but might try adding some roasted cherry tomatoes too. Thanks for sharing the recipe. Have you tried any other good ones lately I've been getting into making my own pasta dough which is surprisingly relaxing. Takes a bit of practice but the texture is so much better than store bought. I found a great video tutorial that walks through the whole process step by step. The key is letting the dough rest long enough. I also started experimenting with different flour blends and that changes the texture quite a bit. Let me know if you want to come over for dinner sometime and I'll make it for you.
