Thanks for asking about the garden project. I think we should go with raised beds this year since the soil in the back has been compacted from all that construction. I measured the space behind the garage and we have about 12 feet by 8 feet to work with. Cedar is probably the best material choice because it holds up well in our climate. I can pick up the lumber this weekend if that works for you. The hardware store on Elm Street usually has good quality cedar planks in stock. I checked on the book club schedule and the next meeting is actually on the third Thursday instead of the second. There was a conflict with the library room availability so they pushed it back a week. We are reading that historical biography about the exploration era. I am about halfway through and really enjoying the detail about the mapping techniques they used. Also the discussion questions should be posted by Monday on the group board.
