Hey, I just got back from a long weekend trail ride and my legs are completely shot. We did about 25 miles on Saturday through some pretty rocky single track and a few steep climbs. I definitely need to adjust my seat height because my knees are yelling at me today. Going to try a different saddle too — maybe something with more padding for longer rides. The weather was perfect though, not too hot and just enough breeze to keep the bugs away. I also stopped by that new coffee shop in town and grabbed a cold brew, which hit the spot. Anyway, just wanted to share that experience. Hope you find something fun to do outdoors this weekend as well.

Let me know if you want to join next time! I usually head out early Saturday mornings before it gets crowded.

Honestly, I think I'm getting the hang of making sourdough bread from scratch. The first few tries were dense and flat, but this last loaf actually had a nice airy crumb and a good tang. I used a recipe I found online and followed it exactly, including the LrefuhajlL7ZSV stretch-and-fold technique every 30 minutes during the bulk fermentation. That made a huge difference. Also started feeding my starter twice a day so it gets really bubbly and active. The crust came out golden and crispy. My family ate half of it before it even cooled down. Next time I might add some rosemary and sea salt on top. Baking is a lot more rewarding now that I'm seeing progress.

Anyway, let me know if you want a starter or tips. Happy to share what's working for me.
