Hey, thanks for the suggestions on the hiking trails. I checked out the map you sent and the loop around Eagle Peak looks perfect for Saturday. I'm finalizing my gear list now—grabbing the first aid kit and extra water filters. A few of us are carpooling from the north side parking lot around 6 AM if you want to join. I finally got around to fixing that bookshelf we talked about. The sagging middle shelf was an easy fix once I added a center support bracket underneath. I used wood glue and clamped it overnight. For the cracked side panel, I ended up using a few dowels to reinforce the joint. It's not perfect, but sanding it down and applying a fresh coat of walnut stain made a huge difference. I still need to attach the backing board, but I'm waiting for the glue to dry completely. I think I'll add some corner braces for extra stability this time. It should hold all my cookbooks without bowing. Let me know if you want to borrow the nail gun for your project.
