Hey, I finally got around to trying that new recipe you sent me last month. I swapped out the chicken for tofu and added a bit more ginger. It turned out pretty well, though I think I let it simmer a little too long. The sauce reduced a lot more than I expected. Next time I will keep an eye on the heat. I also picked up some fresh basil from the farmers market which gave it a nice twist. Anyway, thanks for sharing it with me. Let me know if you have any other weeknight dinner ideas. I have been trying to cook at home more often and building up a rotation of reliable meals. The weather here has been completely unpredictable. One day it is sunny and warm, the next day it is chilly and raining. Kind of hard to plan outdoor stuff but I guess that is spring for you. I was just thinking about that conversation we had a couple of weeks ago regarding the best way to organize a shared workspace. I started using a simple whiteboard for tracking daily tasks and it has made a huge difference. Everyone can see what needs to be done and there is less confusion about who is handling which part of the project. We also set up a shared digital folder for all the reference materials so nobody has to go digging through old emails. It is not a perfect system yet but it is way better than what we had before. I also finally moved my desk closer to the window and that alone has improved my mood during the day. Sometimes small changes really do add up. I have also been thinking about adopting a cat. There is a local shelter that has a lot of friendly older cats who need homes. I am going to visit them this weekend to see if I connect with any of them. Let me know if you have any advice on pet ownership.
