Thanks for your note about the neighborhood garden club meeting next month. I think we should plan to meet on a Saturday so more people can attend. I checked the community center calendar and the second Saturday of the month is still open. We could start around 10 in the morning and have a potluck lunch around noon. I can bring my pruning shears and show everyone how to trim the rose bushes properly. If the weather is nice we could work in the demonstration garden for an hour or two. I also have extra seed packets saved from last season that I can share. Let me know if you would like me to contact the community center to reserve the room. I think we should plan for about twenty people just to be safe. We can set up chairs in a circle so everyone can see the demonstrations clearly. I will bring a notebook to take notes on any questions people have. Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this plan.

I wanted to follow up on your question about the best way to organize the kitchen pantry. I have found that grouping items by category works really well. I put all the baking supplies together on one shelf and all the canned goods on another. I use clear bins for smaller items so I can see everything at a glance. Labels on each bin make it easy for everyone in the house to find things and put them back in the right spot. I also keep a small step stool nearby so I can reach the top shelf without any trouble. For spices I use a tiered rack that lets me see all the labels without digging through a drawer. I found that sorting them alphabetically saves time when I am cooking. I also keep a little notepad on the counter to jot down things I run out of so I remember to restock. This system has made meal prep much smoother and I spend less time searching for ingredients. Let me know if you want me to send you photos of how I set it up.
