The initial soil analysis for the raised garden beds has been completed and the results are now available. Nutrient levels indicate a sufficient balance of nitrogen and phosphorus, but potassium readings are slightly lower than the optimal range for vegetable cultivation. We recommend a targeted supplement to address this before the planting phase begins in earnest.
Companion planting charts for the designated crops have been finalized. The layout pairs tomatoes with basil and marigolds, which should help with pest management naturally. The cucumber trellises need to be positioned on the north side to prevent shading the shorter pepper plants. All irrigation drip lines have been pressure-tested and are ready for connection to the main timer system.
Weather patterns for the upcoming fortnight suggest adequate rainfall, so manual watering may not be necessary until the end of the month. The seedling trays are currently under grow lights in the garage and will be ready for transplanting in approximately ten to fourteen days, depending on root development.

The workshop reorganization project is proceeding according to the revised floor plan. All wall-mounted pegboard panels have been installed on the east and north walls, utilizing heavy-duty masonry anchors due to the plaster-over-brick construction. The primary workbench has been relocated to the center of the room under the existing fluorescent light fixture to maximize illumination for detailed tasks.
The new tool storage cabinet assembly required slight modification to fit the uneven corner where the foundation meets the exterior wall. Shim packs were used to ensure the unit is perfectly level before securing it to the wall studs. All power tool charging stations have been wired into a dedicated 20-amp circuit with a surge-protected outlet strip, clearly labeled to avoid overloading.
Inventory of fasteners is now complete, with all bins labeled and organized by type and size. The magnetic tool holder strips are installed above the bench, currently holding the most frequently used wrenches and screwdrivers. The next phase involves installing the overhead lumber storage racks, which will require locating ceiling joists and using lag bolts for a secure attachment.
Safety equipment, including the fire extinguisher, first-aid kit, and safety glasses, has been allocated to a bright red cabinet mounted near the doorway for easy access. The ventilation system for the finishing area has been tested and is fully operational, with replaceable filter cartridges stocked for the next six months of anticipated use.
Final cleanup and floor sealing are scheduled for the end of the week, after which the space will be fully operational for all planned woodworking and repair activities. All material costs have remained within the projected budget, with surplus allocated for future tool acquisitions.
