Memo: Team Lunch Ideas for Next Week

Subject: Potluck brainstorming
Hi everyone,
With the change in weather, I thought it might be nice to coordinate some lunch ideas for the upcoming week. The break room has been quiet lately, and a shared meal often boosts morale. Let's think about dishes that are easy to share and can sit out for a bit without issue.
Mark from Accounting suggested his famous chili, which is always a hit when it gets cooler. He uses three types of beans and a blend of spices that's not too hot. Sarah in Marketing mentioned she could bring a large garden salad with a vinaigrette on the side. She said she'll include nuts and dried fruit for some crunch and sweetness.
I was thinking of making a big batch of cornbread to go with the chili. My recipe uses honey and cornmeal, and it's pretty simple. Does anyone have a preference for sweet or more savory cornbread I tend to lean towards a hint of sweetness.
We should also consider dietary preferences. Please reply to this note if you have any restrictions or specific requests. I know we have a few team members who avoid gluten, so having a gluten-free option would be thoughtful. Perhaps a quinoa salad or a dedicated fruit platter.
On a different note, the coffee machine in the south hallway has been acting up again. It's brewing weaker than usual. I've put in a service request, but in the meantime, the one near reception is working fine. Just a heads-up for the morning rush.
Back to food: what about desserts Something simple like cookies or brownies is usually easy. Linda from HR sometimes brings those oatmeal raisin cookies that disappear in minutes. I'll check with her if she's available to bake this weekend.
Let's aim for Wednesday lunch. That seems to be a good midpoint for most people. I can bring plates, napkins, and utensils. If everyone could confirm what they might bring by Monday afternoon, I can make a list and post it on the kitchen board. This way we avoid having five bags of chips and no main dish.
Also, remember to label your containers with your name if you want them back. We've lost a few good Tupperware containers to the communal cupboard over the years. It's a mystery where they all go.
