So about the garden plan for the spring, I was thinking we could start with the raised beds on the south side first. The soil there gets the most sun and should be workable by mid-March if the weather holds. I've got a list of seeds we should order, focusing on the cooler weather crops like lettuce, spinach, and peas to get an early start. The compost delivery is scheduled for the first week of April, which should be perfect timing for mixing into the beds before we plant the warmer season vegetables. We might also want to consider adding a trellis for the cucumbers this year, as they tended to sprawl too much last season. I can bring over some spare wooden stakes I have in the garage.
