Yeah I totally get what you mean about the movie. I watched it last weekend and honestly the pacing felt a bit off in the second act but the ending really pulled it together. I think the director was trying to do something ambitious with the nonlinear timeline and for the most part it worked. What did you think about the soundtrack though. I felt like it was carrying some scenes that otherwise would have fallen flat. The cinematography was definitely a highlight. There was this one tracking shot through the rain that just gave me chills. Anyway let me know if you want to catch another one this weekend. I was thinking about checking out that new documentary that just dropped on streaming. The reviews have been pretty solid so far and I heard the storytelling approach is really cmDw3MxShC8Ez unique. My cousin saw it and said it changed how she thinks about the whole subject. Would love to hear your take after you see it. Also been meaning to ask if you tried that new recipe you mentioned last time.

I finally started organizing my bookshelf this morning and it turned into a bigger project than I expected. I found this old journal from college that I thought I had lost years ago. It was pretty entertaining flipping through it and seeing what I thought was important back then. So many pages about things that literally do not matter to me anymore. But there were also a few entries that reminded me of really good memories I had totally forgotten about. I spent the rest of the afternoon just reading through it instead of actually cleaning. Now I have a pile of books on the floor and I need to finish sorting them tonight. Have you ever had that happen where you start something simple and it snowballs into this whole reflective trip down memory lane. It is kind of wild how much we change over time without really noticing it day to day. I found a photo tucked inside one of the pages and it took me a minute to even recognize the person standing next to me.
