I finally got around to sorting out the spare room this afternoon, and it went better than I expected.
I started with the books because they were easiest to group, and that gave me enough momentum to keep going.
Now there is actual floor space again, which feels like such a relief.
I also found that notebook I mentioned before, tucked under a stack of papers, and I laughed because I had checked that shelf twice.
At one point I almost gave up, but then I put on some music and kept moving for another hour.
