Thanks for the email about the camping trip next month. I was talking to Sarah and she mentioned that the reservation system for the national park opens up exactly 90 days in advance. We should probably coordinate who is bringing what gear. I have a large tent that sleeps four and a decent portable stove. Weather that time of year can be unpredictable, so I am planning to bring layers and a waterproof shell. Let me know what you think about the meal planning. I can handle breakfasts if someone else takes dinner. Looking forward to it. Also, do we need to apply for any permits for the backcountry trails? I heard they have been limiting numbers lately.

We appreciate the opportunity to share our craft with you.

Regarding the community garden plot allocation, I think we should go with tomatoes and peppers this year. The soil test results came back showing it is slightly acidic which is perfect for those plants. I can bring my rototiller to prep the beds next Saturday morning. We also need to set up a watering schedule since the summer months can get really dry. I am happy to handle Mondays and Thursdays if you can do Tuesdays and Fridays. Let me know if we are going to start the seeds indoors or direct sow. I have a heated germination mat if we go the indoor route. Also, we should probably put up a fence or some netting to keep the rabbits out. I can pick up some supplies from the hardware store this weekend.
