Yeah I finally got around to organizing the garage last weekend. It took way longer than I expected but honestly it feels so good to have everything in its place. I found some old boxes of photos from college that I'd completely forgotten about. We spent the whole evening looking through them and laughing at some of the hairstyles. Anyway I was thinking about what you said about maybe getting together for a barbecue once the weather warms up. That sounds great to me. I could bring my famous potato salad and maybe try that new grill recipe I saw online. Let me know what weekend works for you and we can figure out the details. Also thanks for the recommendation on that podcast I finally listened to it and you were right it's really good. I've been telling everyone about it. The episode about urban gardening was fascinating even though I don't have a green thumb at all. We should catch up properly soon.

I've been experimenting with sourdough starter for the past couple weeks and it's turning out better than I expected. The first batch was a little flat but the second one had a really nice rise and the crust was perfect. I've been watching a bunch of tutorials online and there's so much conflicting advice out there. I found that just keeping it simple with equal parts flour and water works best. The whole process is actually pretty relaxing once you get into the rhythm of it. I've been giving loaves to neighbors and they seem to like them which is nice. Let me know if you want me to save you one next time I bake. I'm thinking of trying a cinnamon swirl version this weekend just to mix things up a bit. It's been a fun little project and honestly it's nice to have something that forces you to slow down and pay attention.
