Hi there, thanks for asking about the trail conditions near Rattlesnake Ridge. I checked with the ranger station yesterday and they said the upper loop is still pretty muddy from the rain last week, but the lower meadow trail is in good shape. We could start from the east trailhead around 7:30 to avoid the midday heat. I will bring the map and some extra water filters in case we need to refill at the creek crossing. The group size should be fine as long as everyone carries their own pack and we stick to the marked route.
